My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Coffman's Realty, especially John Coffman Jr. We had attempted to sell our condo ourselves and after carefully researching our options, Coffman's seemed to be a very good fit for our family. John took on the challenge of selling our Ft. Thomas condo and did so with a smile- even though the market was horrible, even worse for condos, and there were four others for sale in our complex.
John kept us apprised of what was happening with the condo weekly and we greatly appreciated being kept in the loop, even if there was nothing happening. John worked within the confines of our condo by-laws to conduct showings and open houses and he definitely got potential buyers in to see our home. He worked diligently with his contacts with other realtors in the area to get their clients in to see our property.
We initially received an offer that we did not consider to be fair, even in light of the real estate market. Still, John worked tirelessly to have the two parties come to some consensus so we could close the deal- he even created excel spreadsheets to assist the purchaser and their realtor more clearly see how the dollars would work out- which proved to be very enlightening for all involved. He is an excellent negotiator and is creative in his approaches to finalizing deals. Although this deal fell through after a week of heavy negotiating back and forth, John still remained optimistic that our condo would sell and convinced us to do the same.
The entire Coffman team participated in the huge Super Sunday regional open house push and they chose to include our condo on their list of open properties, which we greatly appreciated. We did get a good deal of traffic that day. A few months later, we got another offer, which was very fair, from buyers who had toured our condo on that Super Sunday. John was right on top of everything as we prepared for the closing and he assisted with the coordination of everything, down to the minutest detail- he again kept in constant contact with us so that we knew everything that was going on.
When we finally did close, John was with us when we signed the papers. We can not thank John (and the entire Coffman team) enough for all of their hard work and patience as he guided us through the (sometimes) difficult process of selling our condo in such a challenging market. We would definitely recommend their services to everyone. Thank you again!!!
